Before the Workshop

What You Will Cover

You Are Not Expected to Master Tax Liens in Two Days

This workshop will not make anyone a master of every aspect of tax lien and deed investing in two days. That would be irresponsible to promise. The goal is preparation, clarity, and disciplined participation — not hype.

Tax lien and tax deed fundamentals — the real difference between the two

Legal structure and business entity considerations before investing

Capital readiness and funding considerations before bidding

Self-directed IRA considerations for funding tax lien investments

Risk management and due diligence before putting capital at risk

County research — finding and evaluating opportunities

Auction process — how it works, what to expect, bid discipline

Live website research and sample auction simulation

Practical implementation next steps after the workshop ends

The goal is preparation, clarity, and disciplined participation — not hype.

What Comes Next

Continued Implementation Happens Inside the REIA NYC

Tax lien and deed investing is not mastered in one weekend. The workshop is the beginning of the structure — not the end of it. No pressure. No hype. Just structure.

01

The Workshop

You are registered. Show up prepared, bring your laptop, and work through the full 10-hour curriculum. The goal is preparation and clarity — not mastery in a weekend.

02

Core Membership

After the workshop, explore REIA NYC Core Membership to access the Tax Lien & Deed Strategy Forum — a member-only room for ongoing discussion, analysis, and peer learning.

03

Model Investment Club

Eligible Core Members may apply for the Tax Lien Model Investment & Education Club. A deeper, application-based opportunity. Not automatic. Earned through demonstrated readiness.

Workshop Investment Credit Reminder

If you registered as a non-member and join REIA NYC Core Membership within 7 days after the workshop, REIA NYC will apply up to $297 of your workshop registration investment toward your first year of Core Membership.

Credit has no cash value and must be used within 7 days after the workshop. Applies only toward first-year REIA NYC Core Membership unless approved otherwise in writing by REIA NYC. May not be applied to Elite Membership, future events, private coaching, legal services, or third-party services.
